About Lee Hoedl
Believing in the power of presence in a child's life, Lee Hoedl left his fifteen-year career as a university administrator and educator to become a "residential education specialist" - a stay-at-home father for the Hoedl triplets born in 2003. In between family responsibilities since that time, Lee finds time to remain an avid cyclist, a triathlete/marathoner and trainer, a nature photographer, a freelance website developer, a motivational speaker, a writer, and a blues enthusiast/guitarist. And when time permits, Lee rejuvenates through his high altitude climbing experience, having summited such peaks as Mt. Whitney, Denali/Mt. McKinley, Mt. Rainier, Cayambe/Cotopaxi, Aconcagua, Elbrus, Kilimanjaro and through the Cascades, Rockies and Appalachians. He also enjoys backpacking, having trekked the majority of America's major national parks. He simply enjoys being in the great outdoors with a camera and just spending quality time with his wife Di and children. At present, all of Lee's children are in college or beyond, so he involves himself in teaching/subbing K-12 grades at various schools in and around Fargo, ND.
